Happiness on the road

Happiness Lodge seems to be doing well on his US speaking tour. After having him for two semesters in my preaching classes I can tell you that he is just being Micronesian modest when talking about his language abilities. Even though he is young he is a terrific communicator -- at least in English. I assume he's at least as effective in Chuukese, which is his first language.

Happiness is with Dave and Joyce Owen, who are on home assignment in the States for a couple of months, traveling around to churches to tell the PIBC story. It will be a cross-cultural ministry experience for him.

In the picture Happiness is the one on the right. He had teamed up with Steven Copp (one of our few American students) for the three-leg race during PIBC Days a couple of months ago.
