Mei's Baptism

Mei, one of our PIBC students, was baptized during the worship service at the Lutheran Church of Guam this morning. The church building is located on the beach -- so after the sermon we all stood up, walked out to the water, had the baptism, then returned to the building to resume the service. In the picture, Mei, who is from mainland China, emerges from the Philippine Sea with Pastor Jeff Johnson, after the baptism. Mei became a Christian about a year ago and was in my spiritual formation class last semester.
