The Lizard

The tourist publicity says that "monitor lizards, known locally as iguanas, can occasionally be seen darting across the road..." We saw our first one this morning -- a few hundred feet from the entrance to PIBC -- perhaps 3 feet long. And he wasn't "darting." I'd say he was sauntering across the road -- until I got out of the car to take his picture. Then he darted. Thus no picture.
