Financially tight

The majority of PIBC students are Chuukese. Many of them depend on scholarships from the Chuukese government to pay their tuition and expenses. So far the Chuuk government hasn't paid up this fall. This means that the students haven't been able to pay their tuition and fees -- and that PIBC is struggling a bit with cashflow. The Chuukese contribution that hasn't been paid is about $40,000 -- which is a lot for a small college to eat. Please keep the situation in your prayers.
