Slow motion

I'm a fairly laid back American -- relatively speaking. I more or less saunter through the day -- plodding along at a slower but more steady pace than most. However, on Guam they must think I'm hyperactive. Everything here moves soooo ssssslllllooooowwww.... (You think postal clerks move slowly in the States!) And I move so quickly. I feel so conspicuous walking through the grocery store because people don't know how to calculate my movement and they end up pushing a cart right into my path. They're used to people moving at a much slower pace. I know that it's just a cultural difference and I'll adjust. But it's not easy to walk in slow motion -- all the time.
