New and returning PIBC staff:
- Tim & Melody Plaxton -- pictured to the right, -- new staff, Liebenzell USA missionaries -- Tim is the maintenance supervisor and Melody is an English teacher. They will be living with us in our condo until we can figure out their housing situation.
- Jeff & Mary Johnson -- pictured below, Jeff followed by Cristel, and Mary, who is carrying his guitar -- returning staff. Jeff is the pastor of the Lutheran Church of Guam. Mary is the academic vice-president at PIBC. They are ELCA missionaries and have been on home assignment this summer.
- They brought Cristel Churchill with them. Cristel, a CPA and missionary with the ELCA, will be living with the Johnsons. Among other assignments, she will be teaching math and bookkeeping at PIBC this year.
- Dave & Joyce Owen, Liebenzell USA missionaries, PIBC pillars. Dave is the president. They've also been on home assignment in the States this summer, too. They stopped off in Hawaii for a couple of days on the way back. Dave complained about how cold he was there. Dave is pictured below holding down the suitcases. Joyce is in the white sweater, which she'll hang in the closet until their next trip to the States.
