A place to live

With the help of friends at PIBC we've found a small three-bedroom apartment about half a mile from PIBC. It's not exactly the most livable place but it will do until the sale of the house in California frees up cash and we can buy something a little more welcoming. The landlords are letting us rent month-to-month.

Unfortunately, we didn't budget for rent when we designed our mission budget. We assumed that the California house would have sold by now and that we'd be living off the proceeds. What this means is that we need to raise another $650/month -- at least until things start moving in Turlock.

We'll set off a few roach bombs and start moving stuff in tomorrow. But we'll still be house-sitting for another 10 days at the Southern Baptist apartment.
